Director and Co-Host - The Movies that Traumatized Us

Dragons Roost Therapy/Harmony Us Inc., 2021-2022

Monthly pod cast covering the inherent trauma in some of our favorite movies. Included in the discussion are how we utilize coping skills to work through that trauma, and how those movies trick us into thinking they were not traumatic at the very end. It is a funny, down to earth take on how movies expose us to trauma while learning skills to handle that same trauma.

The dichotomy of gender, gender expression, gender identity, and gender roles. What it means to cross gender norms in our current social climate and the negative impacts of transgressive social policy.


Guest Lecturer - Sociology of Deviance

Colorado State University, Fort Collins CO., 2013

Lectured on the binary and exclusionary nature of the gender binary and how gender-queer individuals operate within society. Additionally discussed the transgender community and how it operates within the gender-queer spectrum.

Lectured in two section of Human Sexuality in reference to navigating the breadth of human sexuality from a transgender perspective. Led open discussion about presentation, discrimination, adherence to social norms and mores as-well-as the difficulties transgender individuals face within the LGBT community.
